STUDENT AMERICAN BLACK CHIROPRACTIC ASSOCIATION
The Student American Black Chiropractic Association (SABCA), was formerly known as the Harvey Lillard Society, established in memory of the first chiropractic patient. SABCA's purpose is to aid in the recruitment of African Americans and other minorities into the Chiropractic profession and promote the expansion of Chiropractic as a healthcare system.
The American Black Chiropractic Association (ABCA) awards scholarships annually through the Harvey Lillard Scholarship program and hosts an annual regional and national convention to recuit, encourage, and support young African-American students who study Chiropractic.
SABCA is NOT EXCLUSIVE, but INCLUSIVE to ALL communities and races, allowing them to be an outreach for Chiropractic in many unacquainted communities. Hence, Life University's chapter focuses on pride in history and culture based on the school's eight core proficiencies.
SABCA hosts events that focus on outreach, tutelage, chiropractic techniques, culture, fundraising, and fellowship.
